Update on Progress

Not Much in the way of new stuff to report. I started a new game group at my school. I'm acting as the producer. I'm also learning the unreal editor, finally. I think with school, I'm finally starting to get it. A few quarters ago, I really questioned myself as an artist. I really thought I didn't get it, but I just realized that some of my teachers were not compatible with my learning style.

How does this relate to starting my business and game development? Well, i thought I didn't finish a game because I wasn't motivated enough to finish. This may have been the case- partially so. But I also realize that there's alot about game development and design that I didn't know. I feel like this quarter will tie lots of things together. I'm FINALLY in a level design class. Learning a skill that I feel is super important. I knew how to push blocks together in 3d Gamestudio (fine product by the way) But I didn't really know much about design.

I'm finally learning how to put the two things together. We will see how these developments pan out. But I'm starting to get the rules most beginners get as advice. Mainly Starting Small, and finishing what you start.
